As mentioned on another thread, I'm going on holiday in a few weeks (woo Happy Dance) Molly and Junior will be going to parents house. Good luck mum!! *insert evil laugh* I fear it may be a first and last, she's probably going to refuse to have them again, Molly anyway!! Rolling Eyes

They've never been to my parents house, they've only met my mum 3 times and my dad once, because they are usually asleep in their pen when they come to visit us!! Should I take them for a visit to their house before I go on holiday? Is there any benefit in doing this?

I'm at a complete loss, I've never been in this situation before because Thumper spent the first 5 years of her life at their house and loved her visits there after we moved out.

Thank you!

When my buns first went into boarding I just took them there and left them for 7 nights Smile They were fine with it, they all had each other and some of their stuff which had their smell on it, and their usual food. They didn't like being shut in a hutch all day but at least they were cared for and safe.

I think the first question is 'Do Molly and Junior travel well or will it stress them?' I'd think the less stress the better. But they are young and perhaps not as cranky when their world is upset??

I was thinking along the same lines. Their pen/cage combo and everything in it is going with them, and they have each other.

Thank you Smile

My parents house is literally a 5 minute drive away, so travelling isn't really an issue.

As long as your parents have noms I'm sure Molly and Junior will settle in just fine.
