Woodlands Alfalfa Bales
Have any of your buns tried these, if so what are your opinions? I picked up a bag at PAH today thinking that Willow, the piggies and the chins could share them. So far, Willow and one of my piggies have had a nibble before turning their noses up, the other piggy completely refused it. I only have my chinchillas to try with them now and they're my fussiest eaters and not hay lovers at all, so I doubt it will go well. Anyone else found them to be dissapointing?

None of my buns were interested in them, either were my foster piggies.

Re: Woodlands Alfalfa Bales
Thumper always turned her nose up at them but Molly and Junior love them. When they were little and I could feed them freely, I would give them a couple when I had to leave them unattended for a few minutes. They were great for keeping them out of trouble
They did get a bit picky with them for a while but on the whole, they like them
Eta, Thumper didn't eat hay so there was no way she was going to eat them! But I thought leaving them lying around her was worth a try!!

Re: Woodlands Alfalfa Bales
It's nothing to be embarrassed about Sparky - try having a word with my Willow! She is SUCH a picky eater. She will only eat green veggies (except carrots), the minute the hay has fallen out of her rack she won't touch it (luckily she gobbles most of it and they're topped up as they're emptied!), she hates fresh banana but loves banana chips? and basically doesn't like any treats she has to work to eat e.g. hay cookies or fruit twigs I'm discovering Fenugreek Crunchies on the other hand, well... she'd eat those until her heart's content!
Chins didn't think much of them either. Wasted money
