Haven't heard back from the breeder :(
I was supposed to go to see the buck baby on wednesday last week, but the breeder went into labour so she had to cancel, she said she'd be in contact over the weekend about me going to see him on sunday instead. I texted her late afternoon on saturday and got no reply, so I texted again just now asking her to reserve him until I can see him but still no response
I'm probably being impatient but I really want to get him reserved so I can get everything in place, I'm just hoping nothing has gone wrong with her birth or anything

Re: Haven't heard back from the breeder :(
Having had 3 babies myself, rabbits are probably the last thing on her mind at present tbh. Give her a few days, she may have had a c section and breast feeding can be a nightmare at first if she decides to do that
Give her a few extra days as she is probably overwhelmed, jsut as you will be when your new furbaby arrives Come and chat with us about rabbits to pass the time

Re: Haven't heard back from the breeder :(
I know, I really am hoping everything is Ok with her and the bub, typical me picking a heavily pregnant breeder!!
I'll wait patiently(ish!) now, I've still been looking around at rescues but I've yet to find one that will re-home a single I'm going to distract myself by writing cupcake recipes and enjoying everyone's naughty bun stories

Re: Haven't heard back from the breeder :(
I'm sure she'll be in touch soon, as previously mentioned, she's probably a bit overwhelmed. We will try and help you pass the time by chatting buns
Some rescues sometimes have single buns that just do not like other bunnies. I've seen a few around here. Although I'm not sure how many rescues you have near to you, but just a thought and maybe keep your eyes peeled

I cast quite a wide net, I live half way between milton keynes and northampton, so I've been looking in MK, Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, and I've even had a look at some in Oxford/Cambridge but nothing so far
I have fallen a little in love with this little bun:
lily
but it specifies she wants a home with a male

Re: Haven't heard back from the breeder :(
I've been looking on there! They have single buns but no where near me, and the problem isn't finding a single bun, it's finding one that isn't required to go to a home that has another rabbit

Re: Haven't heard back from the breeder :(
Just thought id give Hughie a mention, he is a rescue bun, and i rehome nationally if a bun run can be organised. I only rehome single rabbits as house rabbits though as if they cant have company of their own kind, they need as much human interaction as possible, obviously.
He is in the rehoming section on this forum and hes also on the rabbit rehome website.
