Are the babies trying to be mobile yet? Or are they just interested in milk time?!

they are mobile towards milktime... it's funny 'cos they sort of fall asleep at the boob! Then you give them a gentle stroke and they are straight back to sucking. I never knew babies could fall asleep whilst latched

Eeeeew, not too keen on the sticky birthing photos, but looking forward to seeing lovely fluffy kitten pics. Well done for carrying out midwifery duties for Fatty. I would have been too squeamish.

it was pretty grim but amazing to watch

plus she needed us at times, to help get the babies free etc. couldn't have them suffocating on amniotic sac just cos she's too tired to free them!

not something I'd want to do every day though I must admit

i love kittens they are soooo cute especially when they are a bit older and learning to walk.

i can sympathise with her re the falling asleep when latched - Becki does that regularly lol

I think Fatty will jsut have to stay Fatty. She doesn't seem to suit anything else. Mr B likes Mog but I don't think it's right for her and any suggestion I've (or you've for that matter) come up with fall flat on him... so maybe she will stay fatty...

the babies will need names at some point. I am waiting for their personalities to develop first though :luv:

Amazing pics, they are fab! . Fatty's just done brilliantly, as have you with the midwifery skills . Wish I'd managed to pop my kids so well! Look forward to regular updates and lots and lots of pics!

They are the cutest.

they were pretty disgusting last night but I am glad they are finally out. she must feel so relieved. She has been feeding them this morning but managed to break away to follow me around for food (even though there is some rigt next to her box!!)

Fatty is a very clever mummy cat

lol she is very tired mummy cat. she is very good about letting me near them, she doesn't mind me picking them up (only to reposition with a few quick strokes) as long as she can see them

she is so much slimmer now

it sounds silly really as of course she is going to look slimmer but you can really see jsut how malnourished she is bless her. even after 3 weeks with us she is very slim
