The nesting is in full force

We have a crate (obviously), a carrier, C&C grids, lots of mats, bowls, and some toys

Mum & I switched the small ends of the crate around so that I could fit it in the corner like that, then we realised that it would actually be better to have the run ending at that end and the crate in the middle of the wall so now we have to switch them back again

Also, I've worked out that the total length (including the crate as once he's settled in the door will just be open) is 7 feet 9 inches long

I hope so I'll be happy if he is happy! There's some fenugreek crunchies, nail clippers, and a treat ball on it's way too

what age can you nail clip would he not be a little young just yet

I am actually!! Hahaha, I won't be getting it yet though, it'll be when his toys start to get a bit worn out. I imagine he is a bit young, but I like to be prepared

Thank you, that's so kind I can't wait to see him in it either, he's going to look teeny tiny to start with I'm going to section off a smaller area of the run, then I'll increase it every week or so until it's the full length, I read that giving him too much space too soon will undo any litter training, so I'm hoping this will avoid that

so you'll buy them a week after he arrives then
good to be prepared for sure

Very excited bun mummy! I don't think it helps that I'm quite a broody person as it is! I've gone into overdrive, the weeks can't go fast enough

Wow, little Hector has really fallen on his feet. He is going to live like royalty by the looks of it. It must be torture waiting until you can go and get him. Nest, nest, nest, I say!

I can see that this likkle bunny is going to have a fantastic home

You must post some photos when he moves into his new home, he may need a soft toy to cuddle up to or I can always move in with him and cuddle up to him

It really is torture! Especially now all the things have started to arrive! I just want my little bundle of fluff to arrive, only 19 days to go!! Or 18 as I'm hoping I'll be able to pick him up on the monday rather than the tuesday.


Hahaha, I'm sure there'll be room for you in his cage/run, but there might not be room for both of you! Do they do special soft toys for rabbits?

Any safe soft baby toy would be ok for him with him being so young as I think he would snuggle up to it

When Tigger's friend Nelly died at 3 months old the first thing I thought of was to run up to my room and grab a soft toy rabbit. It was a little smaller than her, and because she was introduced to it so young she used to cuddle up to it and groom it It even went to the vets in the carrier with her and she took comfort from it. So if he is introduced to it at a young age then he will hopefully treat it as a friend and not chew it at all

It looks like they had left over stuffed chicken torsos, and they decided to re-use them as rabbits by sticking on some front paws and a head
