Eye contact?
Do your buns look you in the eye?
Molly really really does, particularly when when I'm talking to her. Other times she'll just randomly jump up on the arm of the sofa and look at me. Even when I break off the eye contact and look back at her, she's sitting there waiting for me to look her in the eye again.
It's almost like she's trying to tell me something!!
Junior doesn't look me in the eye as much, just on occasion.
I've heard in the past that dogs will try and stare you out, but I've never heard of bunnies doing it!

Re: Eye contact?
I don't know if anyone watches it, but I was watching The Big Bang Theory earlier and your post reminded me of it. One of the characters said ' They [rabbits] always look like they’re about to say something, but they never do.'
Mine never really go out of their way to make eye contact.

Willow often looks me in the eye when she's after something. She will look me in the eye if she is up to no good - it's like she wants me to tell her off and see her being a norty bun! - and can be found most mornings sat on my chest, looking me straight in the eye and saying "FEED ME!!"

Re: Eye contact?
Bunnies like to be looked at. A bunny staring at you is a sign that they like you. They will tend to lay/sit in front of the tv or something because they think you are looking at them It's a good thing if a bunny sits and stares and it's common cutesy to return the "look"
Fiver stares at me, Xena isn't so bothered. I'm just the "food giver" to her.

Bruce always stares at me when I am eating chocolate. It is like he is chiding me. He doesn't like it himself. Flo stares if I am late with the noms.

Re: Eye contact?
I also play the blinking game with them. Look at the bunny and then blink slowly. Repeat until they blink back. I usually find this works well with Flo. She will relax a lot after a good blink.

There's no way Molly actually likes me. You must have it wrong!
Maybe! She must get it from her mummy!NickieM wrote:Sasha is one for staring and it is just like you say, Thumper2001, she really really stares! (maybe it's genetic)
I have tried this. She just stares back at me like I'm some kind of moroncheryl'n'bruce'flo wrote:I also play the blinking game with them. Look at the bunny and then blink slowly. Repeat until they blink back. I usually find this works well with Flo. She will relax a lot after a good blink.
