A special little boarder arrived today ( photo heavy)

and he is called 'Gizmo'

" Delicious"


" Be careful with me I'm only tiny "


" Must have a quick wash "


" And then a quick run round"


" A play in my wheel"


"And I'm off upstairs to bed"

I do like hamsters. does he bonky as well as his namesake?

He's adorable! Has quite a spread there too!

He is so cute. He has a fabulous cage there, too!

He is lovely! And he has the same cage as our Lexy-bear! Although we had to remove the penthouse as she was peeing in it and it was seriously gross

Also, the dangly toy with the wood and nuts and ball thingy? Lexy can destroy one of those and reduce it to a wooden hook on the top of the cage within 30 minutes!

Aww he's got the same cage as my Tabitha.
I dont mean to sound rude/ patronising, but his wheel is very small..for syrians they should have a wheel of at least 8 inches or they can get severe spinal problems

I noticed his wheel too, and his bedding. Wool bedding can be really dangerous for hamsters. I reccomend replacing it with shredded toilet roll and advising his owners to use "safe bed" or a paper based bedding for him instead of the wool.

The bedding is Rotastak Snug'& Cosy' bedding made from 100% natural vegetable fibres and non-toxic , they use safe bed in the other little houses but I will tell the owner

Thanks Sue I will print out some hamster info for them including safe bedding and bigger wheels. I did mention the cotton wool bedding to her.

Same here. I adored my robos, and was gutted when my soul-ham left for the bridge after little over a year
