Barley's new game

Barley being an inventive and busy little guy has developed a new game to keep himself busy and to noisily remind me that he is actually in his pen while Sasha is out.

He rips up pieces of newspaper and posts is through the bars of his pen. He sits on the little built-in shelf and pushes bits out. But he does it in a kind of, 'hey I'm here still, let me out!!!'

In the morning there is a little pile of ripped up newspaper outside his pen. It is hilarious.

I think you should search his pen and check you can find all your most precious belongings. You might find he has been keeping certain bits of the newspaper to construct a ransom note

I would like to think they are love notes for me, but he usually rips the paper out of his litter tray - nice and damp - to use to post. Somehow, that takes away the romantic gloss!

Then again, it could be hate mail!!!!
