Iv been asked to rehome 3 rabbits
*I tried to post this in private rehomes but got a message saying 'I wasnt granted access' *
So a girl I used to go to school with messaged me last night asking me if I wanted her 3 rabbits because she hasnt time for them anymore
My heart always tells me to say 'yes' when something like this comes up because I cant bear the thought of bunnies not being loved!
BUT because of my current buns and their delicate bond it just wouldn't be worth trying to add these 3, mine are so happy free range in the garden now I would hate to go back to hutches and seperate runs.
So instead I told her Id ask around...
I dont know much about them, apparently its mum, dad and baby, mum and dad approx 7 months and baby is 8 weeks, non nuetered or vaccinated, dad very nervouse but mum and baby are social.
They are in Shropshire, but if anybody is interested I can bring them back to my home in Burton this friday or the following tuesday (dont know if Ill be able to help other than that.)
If anybody could help please PM me.
*ETA- I asked her what breed they were and she said 'Dutch Dwarf'....so take that however you think lol*

Eek! Are mum and dad still housed together?!
If so, I would imagine there'll be more than 3 buns to rehome!

To be honest I didnt ask, I just assumed they'd all be separate... It didnt occur to me that someone would keep them all together

Re: Iv been asked to rehome 3 rabbits
Oh dear. I do hope the parents have been seperated otherwise it's going to be a hard job trying to find someone willing to rehome three buns who need vaccinating and neutering as well as a potentially pregnant mum!
Still, there are some lovely people out there.
Fingers crossed!

Re: Iv been asked to rehome 3 rabbits
Oh my, the Mum was pregnant at 4 months old?!?
I really hope someone responsible can take them in Have you tried the rescues round that way? I think they might make a case like this a priority...
Hudad is in Brum this weekend and Humum is on the verge of telling him to come and get them, but we just have nowhere to put them

Oh dear this is not good, babies having babies
Not spayed, neutered or vaccinated Bless them, they will no doubt end up at a rescue and they will have to get them spayed or neutered
vaccinated first and then try and rehome them as they will have more chance of getting a home, than now as they are.
I just hope that the poor doe is not pregnant again
