Petition - please sign.
A petition to loreal over their testing on rabbits.
I've seen some horrific pictures regarding this today
I couldn't tell you if this link has any horrific pics because I only paid attention to the bit where you sign. What I saw circulating the net today was enough. What my OH saw was enough to make him chuck his hair gel in the bin. (I already don't buy their stuff.)
Please take a minute to sign it and share on fb, twitter etc.
I'm off to give Molly and Junior a hug!! (Well, try!)

Re: Petition - please sign.
I've got the BUAV campaigning flyers for 'End All Animal Experiments' and sheets for people to sign, I give them out to some of my customers. The UK uses around 3.5 million animals in tests every year. Animals include dogs, cats, monkeys, rabbits, rats, mice, guinea pigs, pigs, horses, fish and birds
The BUAV estimates that up to 115 million animals are used worldwide in research every year.

I still don't understand why hoomins don't test things for hoomins ON hoomins. There are plenty of them rotting in the Queen's finest establishments and costing decent hoomins a fortune. Why not use them for testing?

It's official, they won't have any choice unless they move their business elsewhere

Wishful thinking indeed. Many times we've heard that it will be stopped and then the date gets pushed back and pushed backdizzylynn wrote:I honestly thought animal testing had been totally stopped by now. Wishfull thinking maybe.

And in America, you have all those lovely candidates on death row. They could repay some of their debt to society before the jab or the volts

True. I know there were prisons where the inmates could volunteer for drug trials, but I think there were people trying to stop them because they were 'inhumane'. It was drug testing that they normally pay people to do.

But surely they lost all their rights to human rights when they arrived on death row? If they're going to die anyway, what the smeg does it matter if they come out in a rash?

Re: Petition - please sign.
Just giving this a bump. It's so close to the 30k target.
Do you know what I can't understand?! My OH originally showed me this because he saw it on fb. It had 2 million "likes", yet not even 30 thousand people have signed the petition? Why "like" it and not actually sign it???
Fb strikes me as a flaky place
