Today would have been Pud's Gotcha Day :-(

We would have had The Pudster 4 years today had he still been here.

We got him from our vet practice back in Thornton Cleveleys, Lancashire when we lived there. He belonged to a young girl who became pregnant and moved out of the house to live with her boyfriend and left Pud who was named Pup at the time with her Mother who couldn't cope with Pud as she was working long hour's and Pud was left alone. So the Mother asked the vet if she knew anybody who would like a rabbit and the Vet rang us and we said 'Go on then'

When we went to collect him we were asked what we were told by the x owner about him and we said we had been told nothing, well Pud had a very bad nasal infection which was long term our vet think's that the owner never carried on his treatment as she couldn't handle him, he also was being treated for mites and he had an ear problem, he was a beautiful butterfly lop and he was known at the vet practice as 'The Demon' as he was so bad to give medicines to he would attack you and they hated it when he was due in.

He was a bit of a wriggler when it came to giving him medicines or bathing his very sore nose and Mike most times had to wrap him in a bunny burrito to do it but as time went on Pud became much better and just let us get on with it.

Pud was wonderful he was so loving and so funny and I can remember us taking him back to the vet's months after for a check up on his nose and our vet couldn't believe it was the same bunny that they all called 'The Demon'.

I have never quite got over his death and I don't think I really ever will, I lost my best pal that day

Aw Pud, we still miss you and think of you often - you were such a special guy and such a daft, cabbage-stealing, leg-humping, ornament-throwing, curtain-chewing clown but with bags of charm which meant you got away with just about anything.

I hope you are having a fabulous time at the bridge thinking up all sorts of ways to cause mischief

I hope you and my Bubba found each other and you two are happy together. I couldn't imagine a better bun for her to spend forever with
