Faith has stopped eating again and Mike has took her in the sitting room tonight ( Friday) to have a snuggle with her and we can hear her teeth grinding and so we think she needs another dental which is worrying as the last dental she had was in September and if you remember she didn't eat after it and Mike had to syringe feed her day and night and so I think we could be going down that road again when she has another dental will ring the vet's tomorrow, Mike has given her some pain relief Sad

Faith has not eaten a thing overnight and so this is the 2nd day so we will start syringe feeding today, Mike is going to ring the vet's but our vet is not in till Tuesday and we want her to do the dental op as she knows all Faith's history and she loves Faith and Faith is comfortable with her.
This is what Nethie's can be like the start of the smallest spur and they stop eating and you have to syringe feed them before and sometimes a week or two after. Wee Fudge and Pepsi are exactly the same and so was Chudleigh Flint. This is why I think there are so many little Nethies in rescues as people won't pay to get their dentals done and so give them up to rescues or dump them, sadly lot's of people still think that rabbits are a 'cheap' pet to keep and as we all know.......they certaily are not! Sad

Yes no problem at all I just wish she would nibble some hay or her food but when she has the start of a spur she stops eating completely and
she has been like this since we took her on, Pepsi and wee Fudge are the same slightest spur starting and they don't eat, and they don't eat
for a week maybe longer after a dental either, Pepsi hardly eat's anything but his carrots and hay he is very much a selective eater Sad

Still no change and she has buried herself under the hay which she doesn't usually do and I am wondering if this due to pain as rabbit's deal with pain in all sort's of way's and we have known them to bury themselves like that as I think it's a kind of a comfort to them, although she is on pain relief.

Faith is due at the vet's tomorrow morning for a dental check up, so more worry Sad
