Re: Maysie - how are you?
Oh I do love you lot, I really do
Well had my ultrasound and it didn't show anything nasty and so they are sure it's a stomach ulcer but they can't see what's going on with an ultrasound so I have to have an endoscopy (camera down my throat into the stomach) in two week's time as they need to know if it's bleeding, or my stomach lining is perforated or there is a gastric blockage if it is an ulcer.
They have given me a prescription for some strong tablets to take, Mike has just gone to get them and he said hopefully if it's just an ulcer the tablet's should mend it.
So in two days I have been on two drips, had a tummy x-ray, done a urine sample, blood pressure taken, 2 ECG's , one in the ambulance and one in hospital, blood taken and temperature taken and seen three Doctors and I was on my own apart from today when Mike was with me and so not only did I go through all this and I'm terribly needle-phobic, I also had to endure lot's of people which I don't usually cope with well .............but I did it
I have no pain today..Thank God!

Re: Maysie - how are you?
So pleased you're not in pain today
I'm glad it doesn't appear to be anything "nasty" (although it sounds nasty enough).
Well done for getting through all the prodding and poking!
Hope you're taking it easy. And I've said it before, but if you and Mike need a hand with any bunny cleaning etc, I'm just up the road so don't hesitate to give me a shout

Oh Rob I'd be worrying if the Island I was thinking about had loads of tourist's and the flight home ( I don't like flying)
It makes your arms ache.

Re: Maysie - how are you?
Have already commented on the other thread but try to relax a bit more Maysie, worrying is so not good for you. I know it can be hard though - and you and Mike have been having a lot of stress lately
So glad you're no longer in pain

Just me and no bunnies but then I would wonder how they were and worry about them
