Don't you just hate it
When you get down to the broken bits of fenugreek crunchies and you don't know who to give the bigger bit to?!
And in our case, the broken bits are about half a bags worth because they keep falling off the shelf in the cupboard!

Re: Don't you just hate it
Flo gets the big bits because she needs to put a little weight back on - Bruce gets the small bits because he is feeling a bit 'stocky' at the moment.

Re: Don't you just hate it
See, my logic is: Molly needs it more because she's a skinny little thing, but Junior needs it more because he's a bigger bun and therefore needs more food to fill him up
I just have to alternate!

Re: Don't you just hate it
I normally give the bigger bits to Charlie as he eats them quicker so he as less time to steal Annabelle's!

I tried giving Rory a fenugreek crunchie. He sniffed it and he ran and hid until I removed the offending crunchie from his presence!

Re: Don't you just hate it
Well it is controversial in our house atm. I have all but run out of fenugreek crunchies. However my pair are just about getting through with the wagg apple treats instead.

We tried introducing some fresh apple and he hid from that too. I guess we should be happy he doesn't like fruit because of the sugar. Now if we could just get him litter trained. The house is like one big litter box. Hubby cannot seem to keep it vacuumed fast enough. He is eating over a large bag of hay every 3 1/2 Wks! That was 6 months for any of our other phone book eating buns!

Willow always gets the bigger bit in an attempt to keep her occupied and off Mojo's (she is a pig and literally takes it from the poor bun's mouth!). Doesn't usually work

It's funny, Junior is the biggest piggy out of my two and yet Molly is the one that pinches food from his mouth. Maybe she's trying to tell him something. Maybe he feels the need to eat everything in sight before she pinches it. Re: Don't you just hate it
I can well imagine that is it Thumper2001 - Mojo is learning to eat quicker and run away with his treats now. Poor boy
Earlier on I let them pick a treat each out of the container. Mr Mojo sought out what I think was one of his first (if not his first) Wagg Apple Bake and was so delighted with it that he stopped with it for a moment as if to say "Ooh, YUMMY!". Then he saw Willow finishing up so I distracted her with another treat whilst he charged to the other end of the room with his. A bitta' teamwork there!

Re: Don't you just hate it
Humum tried that with Layla once. Only the once - she swiped the container with a paw, threw treats all over the floor then rushed around trying to eat them faster than Humum could pick them back upFluffSlave wrote:Earlier on I let them pick a treat each out of the container.

I've done this too, but with a bag of assorted sticks. I think Molly took a bite out of 90% of themSparky wrote:Humum tried that with Layla once.
