Xmas 2012 and buns
Look what I found under the (nibbled) Christmas tree!
My effective barricade to keep the bunnies out working really well!
Sasha looking gorgeous although slightly disapproving
Note the poking stick in the background to encourage norty buns out from under the tree!

Thanks My son Christopher took the photos. The first one is of Barley, the rest are of Sasha. Barley just loved getting under the tree and sitting there. Sasha would squeeze in and then try to barge her way out. In the end, I have to open the fence as they were driving me mad!

Re: Xmas 2012 and buns
I can imagine
I'm so glad my buns have their own room to destroy and roam! I can't imagine trying to bun-proof a living room or house

Re: Xmas 2012 and buns
They are stunning - that is a particularly gorgeous photo of Sasha
I know the problem with the tree fence - there was a huge great big gap at the back. Also no barbed wire, machine gun towers or huge great dogs with huge great teeth. Not that those things would have stopped them, but it would have made it far more interesting for them
I won't talk about the pokey stick although my Humum said 'it should have been sharpened' (I'm sure she doesn't mean it.)

Re: Xmas 2012 and buns
That last photo was taken at the point that they had worn me down. They discovered that the fence went up against the radiator and there was a gap so just squeezed under it! They then wouldn't come out the same way and would insist on biting the fence from the inside and shaking it. In the end I moved the fence so the wires for the tree were protected and they have free reign to sit under the bloody tree!
To be fair, they have been incredibly good with it and basically have had a few nibbles and then just like to hide underneath it. Keeping them out was more trouble than it was worth.

They are gorgeous
We tried to put a tree barrier up as well, and had the same problem as you, ours also did not stay in place long!
