Top Spec- Top Chop Grass
Has any one used this product?
http://www.topspec.com/assets/images/products/topchop/topchop-grass-main.jpg
I bought a large bag of readigrass from my local horsey supplier and when I opened it, it isn't as green looking as normal and the 2 snobs have screwed their noses up at it. but at the moment they are snubbing oxbow western timothy as well.
But When I got some for a friend that was not as green but I thought that was a one off, and i know its all to do with the weather as well at harvest
they have Graze on but I find that too short cut.
But has any one tried the Top Spec one
or do I persevere until they know its that or nowt.

Re: Top Spec- Top Chop Grass
The info on it clicky mentions a 'light coating of soya oil'
I'm not sure if that would be ok for buns....?

I was about to point out the same as Sparky. I accidentally bought a similar product a while back but was really worried about the added oils so I gave it to a friend with horses.

I'm going to swap them for a horse, am sure a horse won't be as fussy.cheryl'n'bruce'flo wrote:I was about to point out the same as Sparky. I accidentally bought a similar product a while back but was really worried about the added oils so I gave it to a friend with horses.

One of my friends has 2 horses and you are quite correct.
Now, will they be house horses?

Re: Top Spec- Top Chop Grass
hi
i have never tried it mine love readigrass , i brought a large bag of oxbow timothy hay thinking they would love it and they hated it cost a fortune as well!
they love oat wheat and barley hay , and hay from the dust free hay company always very clean with lovely long stems.
regards
