The PDSA post helpful information about different pets each day and today they are doing rabbits
So far they have posted the importance of having other rabbits for company and not keeping with guinea pigs

Re: PDSA on Facebook
Great to hear
I think lots more people need to be made aware about the rabbit/guinea pig thing.
When I was younger we had a bunny and a guinea pig living together - the guinea pig constantly suffered because our rabbit used to always hump him. Unfortunately there was far less information back then to educate people and it's great that it is now available to those who need it.

Re: PDSA on Facebook
My OH told me last night he doesn't want another rabbit fullstop (as he "wants to have nice furniture" ). Unless Nibbler becomes an outdoor bun. I REALLY don't want him as an outdoor bun, and REALLY want a friend for him. I honestly don't know what to do. It's going to be a while yet before we can get him a friend, but I don't want it to be never and not for the sake of some sodding furniture...I think I'm going to have to subtly leave him information like what the PDSA have been sharing!

Re: PDSA on Facebook
They posted a lot more over the last few days
They posted about how rabbits were the most mistreated pet, the importance of spaying/neutering, diet being mainly hay, not feeding muesli and too many sweet treats, not letting slugs in the hutch, only bathing on vets recommendations or when absolutely necessary, grooming and digging.
Good to see although would liked to have seen something on housing :/
