The timothy and rye hay is a hit!
It's lovely and stalky, smells great too!
Now I've been able to confirm it, I can solidly say that the hay smelly mouldy/feeling damp is nothing to do with hay for pets, I think it's to do with whatever courier service they use in my area. When I order the 1.8kg bag it's delivered by the Royal Mail, comes the day after it's dispatched, and arrives in perfect condition. When I order the 4.5kg bag it's delivered by a courier, it takes 2-3 days to arrive after it's been dispatched, and it smelly mouldy and damp. I can only assume that they leave it sitting somewhere and the hay sweats in the bag and becomes mouldy.

I would feed that information back to hay 4 pets. It will cost them business if they continue to use that courier.

It's good that you know the problem. It is strange though because our big bags usually turn up next day. I can't remember if it is Yodel or someone else who delivers them....

I'm led to believe yodel do all their deliveries. I can't complain about it either Both times I've ordered from them it's been on a Sunday and the hay has arrived on the Wednesday. And I'm all the way up here! The most recent one was delivered before 9am!!Sparky wrote:Nom nom nom

Mine comes from a very nice man in a plain, slightly beat up, white van...

The van that delivered mine was plain white too. It just had a sticker in the window that said yodel.
