Can I have some hopper vibes for one of my piggies please?

I know she's not a bunny, but I'd really appreciate some magic hopper vibes for one of my guinea pigs.

Silver has developed a V-shaped pattern of hair loss right in the centre of her back. I am hoping it is just mites (this is the most common symptom in piggies) but some vibes will be much appreciated for her!

She is off to the vets tomorrow and hopefully some Ivermectin will do the job. Her sister still has a full coat so we are hoping we've caught them early if it is pesky mites!

She is off to the vets tonight so we will see! She is totally fine in herself which is good.

Silver is very beautiful - her and her sister, Pearl, are Rex guinea pigs. My mum absolutely loves Rex's so when we decided to get guinea pigs and found these girls we snapped them up!

Silver was diagnosed with mites as we suspected. The vet treated both her and her sister by injection (the poor little things squeaked the consultation room down when they were given it!), and have to go back in another 14 days for a second injection.

All of their fleeces have been washed and they are on shredded paper for the rest of the week, just to be safe.

Silver is fine in herself, both girls are just sulking with me now. I will crack the veggies out later and win them over. Picked up a pack of their favourite treats today to help me out too

Aww Bless her , I know when I use to take 'Dudley Moore' my Russian Dwarf Hamster to the vet's and she gave him an injection I felt so cruel as there was just nothing to him.
