Meetings? Handling farms?
Hi everyone
Does anybody know of any places you can go and visit rabbits, or better still handle them at all?
Would like to take my fiance this weeekend, we are based in Sheffield but could have a drive out.
If anyone has any info that would be great.
Thanks

Re: Meetings? Handling farms?
Why not contact your local RSPCA or rescue?
Im sure they would be glad of the extra pair of hands to help out, and im sure they would be more than happy to let you have a snuggle of some of the rabbits and teach you a thing or two about their care needs.
If you dont know where your local rescue is, you could search for one on here, obviously call them well in advance so that they can arrange a suitable time for you to go.

I don't think he means in helping out Sophia I think he means as in a 'petting farm'.
Theres this one in Barnsley if it's of any help http://www.cannonhallfarm.co.uk/ and they have rabbits if you put 'Petting Farms' in your area in search you should find something

I know lots of farm parks have a little enclosure with rabbits and guinea pigs to meet and some of them let you handle them.

Re: Meetings? Handling farms?
Is it because you are thinking of getting buns?
in that case your local rescue is a great place to go, they will be able to let you hold and get close to some and also help you with what would be involved in having a bun so that you knew exactly what the implications are. They wouldnt pressure you or anything but you would have a better idea if Rabbits are for you by going there too.
