Vibes for Penny please her spay u/d she's eating yay!

I'm worried about her - she still isn't eating more that the odd small nibble.

I had the same problem with Molly after she was done because she wouldn't eat.

Have you tried giving her soggy nuggies? I made some for Molly and ended up syringing it to her, she was voluntarily taking it from the syringe. It was like she was starving but couldn't put in the effort to actually eat.

Soggy nuggies (lukewarm water makes them smell stronger) or porridge with a bit of honey are quite tempting foods.

What is she nibbling when she decides to?

It can take 24 hours Katie sometimes, we have had them eating on like the third day after a spay it's such a big op for them.
I presume she is on pain relief as if they are in pain they don't eat.

I remember Hazel was the same too but a few day later she perked up I had to try stop her binkying about

He's she is on metacam twice a day plus john gave her a pain jab earlier today.

She has just had another few strands of hay and a drink of water.

How is Penny today?

She has nibbled a very very small amount of hay today - like about 6 strands, so I have syringe fed her, and will do it again before we go to bed tonight.

She is just such a beautiful little girl x

Penny had a syringe feed this morning but has been nomming a fair bit of hay today!!!!

Yay!

She has also eaten some cawwit!

She is really bright and happy today too
