That's a bit naughty of them.
I wish I was nearer Hun.
Why do buns always pick when we are committed to something to be poorly?
Sending you a hug hunni x

I'm not sure if we'll hear from Vanessa today. Didn't she say she wasn't sure if she could get down to the llama trekking place and back in a day?
Fingers crossed that no news is good news.

Re: Rosie at the Vets U/D Now home
Thank you all for your best wishes for Rosie. This is the first chance I have had to reply.
The vet's were not at all keen to let Rosie home on Wednesday as her eating and poo output were still not great. I called at the vets on the way to my sister's with a selection of veg for Rosie in the hope that this would tempt her to eat more. Over the course of Thursday her poo output and quality improved and the sounds from her tummy were much improved too.
She was therefore allowed home yesterday and she and BJ were re-united with no issues at all. She is obviously glad to be back home and I am so happy to have her back home
As to why she went into stasis is still a mystery. Her teeth/mouth gave no real cause for alarm. I can only speculate that the vaccination completely knocked her sideways. I hope that this is the case and that there is nothing underlying that caused it. Today she has been enjoying some time on the grass in the sun.
As for me - a few more grey hairs. And after six vaccinations last week and Rosie's 4 day stay at the vet's I am officially skint!
Thanks again for all your support xx

Re: Rosie at the Vets U/D Now home
I'm so pleased to hear that she is home and well, and that she has gone back with BJ fine
Last year Jack had a flare-up of his snuffles after having the combi jab for the first time, this year there is no sign of it. I wonder if the first time can hit some buns a bit hard, but once they have had it once they can tolerate it better...
Have you asked your vet to report Rosie's case to the vaccine manufacturer? I would, just in case it helps them identify any pattern there might be.
I'm sorry about your grey hairs and empty pockets but hope you enjoyed the llamas

Re: Rosie at the Vets U/D Now home
It's great to hear that Rosie is now back home with BJ and her mummy
I hope that the cause of her stasis was nothing underlying and it was just the vaccine creating a bit of a problem. It sounds like that is the most likely cause.
Sending lots of "stay better" vibes for lovely Rosie, and even more hugs for her lovely humum!

Re: Rosie at the Vets U/D Now home
oh Vanessa i'm so relieved she has improved enough to come home and feel that being at the vets probably added to the stress for both her and you but am very concerned that they did not keep good contact with you and also have no answers I am sending loads of vibes for her with nose rubs and lots of hugs for you hun xx
