Theo the Tiger

Hello Hoppers, I am Theo - the brand new (and slightly confused) Wood bunny tiger.



I have had quite an eventful day. This morning I was with my foster mummy, who I have been with for six weeks. Before that I was in the P@H adoption centre but because I had some toothy problems and have had my front teeth removed, they asked a proper rescue to help find me a forever home. This morning I was called TJ.

A man and a lady came at lunchtime and said they would like to give me that forever home and although I was a bit sad to say goodbye to my foster mummy, I hopped off with them happily enough. They put me in a carrier in the car with some hay and we drove for a little while. On that part of the drive Hudad named me Teddy. Then we stopped to see some very special people called TuckerHumans. They had been very kind and put a pen up in their kitchen for me and put out some really delicious posh hay and some water. So I had some noms and a drink while the humans had to make do with a brew and cake. There was a huge bunny there called Big Bazza but I wasn't scared at all

After a couple of hours (once the humum had wrestled me away from the lady TuckerHuman ) we got back in the car and drove some more, stopping for a noserub and a drink on the way. This time the Hudad decided I was named Theo (my very first name was Theodore). The Humum wanted me to have a T name because of two very special buns called Taffy and Tia, so she was happy with Theo too.

We finally got back to my new forever home, and the humans brought me in and said 'Oh no what has been going on here?' because apparently two very, very naughty bunnies had chosen to bust out of their pen in the living room and duff Sparky up

Luckily Sparky is fine because it seems she can get up on the sofa in one leap when being pursued by a Layla

When the humans had sorted all that out, they brought me upstairs and put me into a pen and gave me some time to settle down, and the Humum was chatting to me and telling me that as far as Sparky was concerned I am a very rare black, long-eared tiger. Which is fine by me as she gave me food

They put Sparky in her spaceship to take advantage of the fact she was stressed and panting then brought her up and she is now hiding in an Orange Cube of Invincibility in the corner of my pen, and is not too keen on coming out to say hello. Humum says tigers can be a bit scary and to give her time.

I do believe you are a "lesser stripey long ear tiger" very rare and precious.

Because of this I think you are entitled to extra treats!

You'll be happy to hear she is just fine after her traumatic day. There was some pulled fur, but no signs of any injuries on anybun and she is pretty quick when she needs to be. Jack and Layla are flat out in their pen (in disgrace), absolutely shattered

Sparky and Theo are currently in the bath, sorting out who is going to be Top Bun. I have a feeling Theo is going to cave because Sparky is quite persistent and wears one down in the end The signs are good - Theo keeps flopping right next to Sparky and although she is giving us the wide-eyed what-are-you-doing-to-me nonsense she's definitely going to be a lot happier with a lovely husbun pet tiger.

Theo is just lovely, a real cuddle bunny tiger and like most lops not short on confidence

He is a bit underweight under all that floof, but I am sure we can soon get him up to a healthy weight. He eats hay like nobunny's business, so hopefully he'll also get Sparky eating a bit more of it.

I want to say a huge thankyou to Sue_pawz, who helped us sort through bunnies tigers to find one best suited to Sparky even though she was feeling rotten

Also to the lovely TuckerHumans for the pit-stop on the way back and for letting go of Theo eventually It's given me real peace of mind that such knowledgeable people have been able to give him a quick look over for us, and setting him up a lovely pen so he did not have to wait in the car was just fantastic. I got to give Penny a nose-rub too

Sparky, you lucky girl! You got that long eared, dark, solid coloured pet tiger after all. Not just any old tiger for you!

He is gorgeous and sounds like a lovely chap

He is a very laid-back tiger. He flops all the time. Even on my head
