Sparky and Theo - how's it going?

Quite well, I think...





He makes quite a comfy pillow:




Now that he is not constantly humping me we're being quite snuggly. He can't bear to let me out of his sight. I had a cuddle with Humum yesterday (yes really) to give me some peace from his attentions and he searched the whole upstairs for me

It turns out that tigers behave quite a lot like rabbits, but without the nipping, and that suits me fine


Do I look quite pleased?






Layla was very norty and came upstairs for a nosey (she can't get further than the top step, but still...)

I'm so happy a rabbit and a tiger. Who knew they would live so happily together?

Yep, we were only apart on his first night. He has humped a *lot* but has calmed down (or worn himself out) now. I have groomed him a bit, he has groomed me a bit. I'm not bothered by him in the slightest, when I go in my Orange Cube of Invincibility he (mostly) knows to leave me alone.

He can't nip me as he has no front teeth, but he is a big softy anyway. Humum thinks he might not even have seen a rabbit before and is completely smitten with me.

We go out and free-range upstairs, which is when sometimes I used to attack Gizmo, and we're fine.

Humum says he's not going back because he is just lovely, he loves humans too and will tolerate snuggles and noserubs for hours.

We have a check-up at the vet tomorrow and she is going to swoon over him although she might be a bit scared coz we're not sure if she has ever checked a tiger before

I think your vet will do just fine checking him over. You can give her any tips on tigers if she needs them, after all

We've been to the vet

I was very wriggly. She cut my nails. She did say my chest sounds lovely. I have a patch of fuzzy skin on the back of my neck which might be mites or might be Theo fur-pulling so Humum has to keep an eye on it. She'll be lucky

Theo was also wriggly and he got a clean bill of health too. The vet actually advised not to let him put much more weight on - partly to keep him slightly hungry and eating lots of hay and partly because it will be harder for him to clean himself with no front teefs. He'll have his vaccination in a couple of weeks when he has settled - Humum doesn't want him to have it right after the stress of moving house and meeting me.

We're now sulking together
