Well she's home and wide awake we have put her in an indoor cage for now in the dining room where Fudge, Penny and Surrey Simon live as she has had a vetragesic injection and it makes them a bit sleepy and we didn't want her falling down the ramp in her double hutch. Honor said if she eat's not to syringe feed but if she doesn't we are to syring feed her tonight, she's on the usual tummy meds and on metacam for a week.

glad she's home and settled. i know what she must feel like on that vetegesic! bless her. Im so glad it wasn't liver torsion. I can't help thinking the worst when i hear about lumps. give her a snuggle and a nose rub from me Maysie. Was the lump just a bit of gas then?

The lump was her stomach muscles contracting due to the spasms, she was in an awful lot of pain with her tummy it was obvious to see how uncomfortable she was this morning.

Her tummy was so tensed up it was knotted Honor said.

Oh bunnies are awful on vetegesic they really don't know where they are or what's happening sometimes they are so out of it Bless

Although Jamie is nibbling a little hay she is not 100% and not eating her pellets or greens/herbs so we have now started syringe feeding her. Hopefully she will feel better soon in herself and start to eat proper again.

I imagine her tummy is just still sore. Pain relief meds don't always work on tummy muscles...at least they don't in humans.

She is still not eating by herself and she is very quiet but she is being good and taking her meds and syringe feed, Jamie has always been a good girl, never ever any trouble and very clean, a bit of a Lady!
She's named after my Niece's Daughter Jamie Ellen.
