Thumper2001 1 - 0 Molly and Junior

After the hoo ha of our HFP hay taking ages to arrive and Molly and Junior eating alfalfa king and green oat for 2 days, they've been refusing to eat the newly delivered Timothy and rye

I got up this morning to a litter tray still full of hay and it was the same when I came home from work today.

So I had a think about what to do and came to the conclusion that they would be more likely to eat it if they thought they weren't supposed to be eating it. They are rabbits after all

I took the huge bag through to the living room, put it on its side and me and OH vacated the room. I peeked in the room 5 minutes later and there they were, in the bag filling their faces I then put some in the litter tray and took the bag away. They followed the hay to the tray

Why are bunnies so awkward??

Well done you! *high five* Obviously eating hay out of the bag is far more appealing. Joey is the same, except he's been banned from eating out of he bag because he likes to pee in it

Methinks they are just lulling you into a false sense of security. I am sure they are already plotting their next naughtiness

How on earth did you get them to sit for your new avatar?

They got the front room to themselves and a whole sack of hay, and you are counting that as a win for you?

They'd had their breakfast and their morning run around, that was them telling me they were ready to go back to the pen

They start by sitting staring at me and if I don't open the door for them they start chewing the skirting block by the door. They know how to get what they want

I didn't waste £12 on the hay

Saying that, I think you guys might be right because Junior is still being a bit fussy with it

I was planning on ordering a bag of Ings hay because I didn't think Junior was eating it, but I saw him scoffing it at tea time, so watch this space.....
