Some shots of my holiday to South East Asia
Here are a few photos from my holiday starting with our departure from Aberdeen Airport. It was -2 and we had snow on the way to the airport. Arrived to 30+ temperatures.
My son Christopher took these and they are pretty good.
A shot across the snowy country of Aberdeenshire
Amsterdam airport
Eagles fishing at Killim Geopark on Langkawi Island, Malaysia
There were loads of wild monkeys on the Island, but we had to be cautious and make sure they didn't pinch anything from our bags. They love sunglasses!
All the boats lined up for hire at Killim Geopark
More eagles
Eagle Square at the main town on Langkawi. Langkawi means eagle stone in Malay.
The sunset over Eagle Square and the fountains
Tropical fish at the Underwater World on Langkawi
A kingfisher at the Underwater World (?)
A scorpion fish at the Underwater World
More photos to come .....

Re: Some shots of my holiday to South East Asia
Here are a couple
The beach at Pantai Cenang at Langkawi Island. This is the view from the sunbeds just outside the resort. Absolute heaven.
The view across the harbour at Singapore.
The Gardens by the Bay - Supertrees Grove. Huge artificial structures that look really space age. They are lit up at night and there is a walkway between 50 feet up which gives a great view of the city.
