The shed is up!
The shed and run is up at last
They've got a 6ft long x 4ft deep shed with a 6ft long x 2ft deep run attached at all times.
Here's some pics (it's almost finished now, we've just got to mesh the window, attach hay racks to the wall and order a couple of tables to use as upper levels. They should be in sometime this week):
I was thinking since it's so warm at the moment - even at night - to just move them out cold turkey i.e. stick them out there one morning and not bring them back in. What do you think?
Also, how do you guys keep your outdoor set ups cool for the buns. The shed is a bit stuffy hence we're meshing the windows not installing plastic ones. I have a run shade for when they move out, and obviously the frozen water bottles etc. I'll probably get a couple of ice pods too. Anything else?

Re: The shed is up!
Looks fab hunni!!
You might want to think about some way of covering the windows in the winter. Also - how stong is the mesh....is it determined foxproof.
Also you might want to consider some way of blocking off the run for overnight again...foxes are determined creatures so you want to make sure the buns are 100% secured inside that shed overnight. Also, on winter nights you will want to make sure its as snuggly as draftproof as possible!

Thank you
I will make sure that the mesh is nice and strong. In the winter months we're going to have a "roll up/down" tarp system to cover the window and block out any drafts. A bit like the ones you get sometimes on the side of a tent, if you can picture that?
The run will be blocked off at night time, and I'll cover the hole with a piece of wood or something similar and put a brick against it to keep it there securely
