Litter in my hair!
So there I am....just taking off the covers on the hutch/run this morning to give the buns their morning veggies, when there was an enormous bang from inside!
I won't say who, but his name begins with Ninja, was hopping around a completely upturned litter tray in the run.....it had been catapulted from inside the hutch into the middle of the run, upside down, goodness knows how.
I got into the run, on hands and knees, to pick up the tray and scoop the litter back in. We use CareFresh...they eat anything else. I picked up the litter tray...Jeff saw the pile of Carefresh underneath, pounced on it with a gleeful look of " Yaaaaaay! Digging! Digging!" and dug for all he was worth.......litter sprayed all over me, all over the run, all in the water bowl, all in the hay box....
The little monkey was having a whale of a time. I, on the other hand, had to pick bits of litter out of my hair before I could go to work!
I think I'll be making a digging box when they have their new home.

Despite all that, I bet you had a little smile and thanked the big bun in the sky that he is all bouncy and healthy, didn't you?

Absolutely!!!!
To think how poorly he was just a few weeks ago....and all the care that Maysie and Mike gave him to pull him through.....he can be as norty as he wishes (but I'd still appreciate a warning before he flings used litter all over me!)
