Jack, Layla and a Maze-a-log (video)
Humum has come across the Maze-a-log a couple of times and knew Layla would quite enjoy it, but that it probably wouldn't last long and at around £6 would have been an expensive half-hours entertainment.
She wasn't sure about Jack as he hates the Teach-and-Treat (but that is mainly because Layla attacks it, throws bits across the room and makes loads of noise. Jack sits behind the sofa and thumps )
When Humum saw the Maze-a-log on Viovet for £3.15 she bought a couple. She filled one up with treats, pellets and dried noms the other night and gave it to Jack and Layla.
Excuse any shaky camera work. There was some hysteria

What treats did you use? Do they go under all the bits?

There were broken up banananana chips, broken up fenugreek crunchies, their supper allowance of SS Pellets and some dried leafy noms. You can fill up the hollows in some of the log bits, and drop bits in the gaps between them. Depending on how annoying you want to be
It kept Layla occupied for a good 30 minutes and Humum nearly widdled herself several times....

So fun! Rory would probably stare at it wondering what to do. We don't think he is the smartest bun in the hutch but he is only 18 mo and had no proper stimulation the first 8 mo.

We have 1 of thse for dougal, he loves it when we put his tearts in but he rips the log pieces off rather than just taking them out and taking time, it is so funny. Humum has to keep putting them back on but he just rops them off and throws them out the way.
Love the vid, i see they are as gentle as dougal with the maze o log?
Has Layla spoken to Dougal? did he tell her to rip them off? it is likew they have watched him and done the same.
