Anybunniez Rabbit Rescue and Rehome Network on Facebook.
Hi I hope admin don't mind me posting this.
Anybunniez Rabbit and Rescue Rehome on Facebook is a rabbit rescue group who have been set up and is a network of dedicated people all around the country who are working together to help rabbits kept in bad conditions, small hutches, left in the bottom of the garden with just hay and food being given to them-that sort of thing.
Anybunniez Rabbit and Rescue Rehome do not rescue from rescues as they see them as 'safe'.
Anybunniez Rabbit and Rescue Rehome need more members so we can cover even more area's and we are looking for members that..
1) Can help with a rescue.
2) Foster for either long or short term.
3) Help to transport animals ( even if it is just a few miles ).
If you think that you can help even just a small amount please join our group https://www.facebook.com/groups/1449835078577131
Thank You.

Re: Anybunniez Rabbit Rescue and Rehome Network on Facebook.
We're on this group too and they have not been going long but have already been able to take some buns from dire situations and get them into rescues, foster homes or even permanent homes. They're doing good stuff
There's not been anything close enough to our area to help with yet, but there will be and we'll willingly do all we can when that happens

Re: Anybunniez Rabbit Rescue and Rehome Network on Facebook.
Please please if you are on Facebook and you can help in anyway big or small please join Anybunniez Rabbit Rescue and Rehome, it's only a small group at the moment and with more members we can do so much more to help rabbits throughout the country. In some area's we have no members and so we can not help rabbits that need urgent help.
Mike is on his way back from Cambridge as I speak with three nethie girls, one with a baby all have been kept in horrendous conditions these are the lucky ones they are now safe.
Help us to help more, please join now
Thank You

Re: Anybunniez Rabbit Rescue and Rehome Network on Facebook.
Sounds wonderful and I'd like to be part of it but I've looked at the Facebook page (I don't use Facebook) and all I can see is a members list - I was hoping to see how things were organised. For instance the best way I could help would probably be fostering but if the rabbits don't belong to a rescue then who would pay any vets bills? ... who do the rabbits belong to? etc.
It sounds a really worthwhile cause I'd just like to know more.

I think you have to join the group (i.e. you'd have to join FB first) to see the posts - there's a map on there which people have listed against where they are and how they can help - i.e. for us it is bun runs and emergency fostering. Some people have contributed to fuel costs to go and get buns etc. Whatever is needed at the time really.
It's early days yet and would benefit from being a little more organised, but people are doing what they can and have already rescued several buns.
If you're not sure, please join up and help develop it, it is a fabulous idea but needs peoples' input. If you decide it's really not for you, for whatever reason, you can leave the group again.

Thanks. I'm on Facebook in that I have an account but don't use it. I won't to sign up to anything without knowing what I am signing up for, I need to read the description first - that's just one of life's rules for me. I'd be no use for bunny runs . I could foster but right at the moment finances are tight so I'd need to know exactly what would be expected as I'm not able to take any risks financially.
I do wish them well though it's a wonderful venture.

Re: Anybunniez Rabbit Rescue and Rehome Network on Facebook.
Can I just say that Anybunniez Rabbit and Rehome network is nothing to do with me, I like many more people joined to give help in any way such as transporting rabbits.
I was asked if I could give a shout out on the rabbit forums to advertise them and I copied and pasted what I was told to write.
I have had so much flack for doing what I thought was a great cause and been so upset I have now left Anybunniez and took a step back from all rescue .
For the rabbits we rescued and we rescued 4 I'm glad we did as we kept them all, we got 3 out of a bad situation and one from going for snake food or dog bait .
I personally and Sparky I'm sure will vouch for me Anybunniez is a wonderful network of people from one end of the country to another who are on stand-by to help, foster and transport rabbits, it's new and like all new ventures it has teething problems but in time I'm sure it will be something very special.
