Does anyone elses bunny?
Hello my dear friends
I am just wondering if any of your buns have tantrums. As you know we have a new little girl called Holly as a companion for Binky; she is an absolute dream and lives for hoomin fuss. However if she doesn't get her own way she stamps. When I am in bed and facing the wrong way she will stamp and sometimes walk all over me including my face, little madam. I am lucky to still have eyes Does anyone elses bunny do this? She will also stamp and make what I call her humphing noise if I do not respond straight away.
Hugs
JO xx

Re: Does anyone elses bunny?
Yep, not quite that as he has never jumped on the bed yet but he does have tantrums indeed. He stomps sometimes and throws things about and kicks his back legs out when you annoy him. He once thumped every time I laughed at him, the more I laughed the more he did it, was so funny. He also does an excellent grumpy face and I am sure if he could swear at me he would. He hates me moving things so then he starts getting manic and darting about and then he attacks me slippers on my feet .
Gimli our dwarf hammie we had, he had tantrums too and it was the funniest cutest thing I have ever see with him being so tiny.
I gave gim a treat once and cannot remember what it was but it was not going the way he wanted so he slammed it down onto the megazorb next to him and stared at it then picked it back up and ate it. Best ones where when he was not keen on something you gave him, he would poke his head out of his house and get things off me, he once flung it from his bed at my hand well far across the cages, was so funny.
Sorry I know he was a hammie but it was hilarious.

Bubbles always stamps after I have hold her. No it's not protest because she looks happy. It is just when her feet touch the ground she needs to confirm this or make a statement. It only one precise thump and it sounds the same no matter where she is landing.
Cracks me up. She will give me a nose rub straight after. Sweet!

Yes! Myrtle seems to love having tantrums and will be quite vocal about it!

Domino is awful, we had to shut him in his cage one night because we had someone staying over, and he thumped all night, it was awful!
And if you dont clean him out soon enough, he pulls his litter tray around!

What a well educated bunny Domino is.
Back to the idea to train them to clean litter trays themselves???

Domino teeling you to clean his tray and pulling it around, that is funny and brilliant.

Tantrums??
Just had Bertie appearing on the landing as I'm running late with dinner because I'm on HH. Hi still kissed my nose but also mentioned that Bubbles want pen and paper to write a letter to RSPCA ad make an official complaint as this is not the b&b she booked in for.
Gonna see you later

Vince is often grumpy with me, most of what he communicates to me is based on insults!! I popped my head in the play house today with their greens and he stamped his feet and made this funny sound in the back of his throat! Miserable so and so

Willow is a grunty bun and will certainly let you know when she's not happy about stuff. Mojo just has a habit of barging things out of his way/picking them up and lobbing them miles off/digging and destroying whatever doesn't take his fancy

Re: Does anyone elses bunny?
Hello frends
Thank you so much foor your wonderful replies, I have been in stitches. I am not the only one with a grumpy bun then, if she doesn't get her own way. I am lucky because most of the time she is very sweet; she too wll give me kisses but it is just when she thinks she isn't getting enough attention she lets me know. I must, with your permssion, print your replies off and show them to Paul, he will think they are brlliant.
As you know she is unspayed and thus is clawing at everything iincluding our carpet and settee. Poor little love, I know her little hormones are raging and she is just making a nest but we cannot afford to have her spayed for another couple of weeks. We have put thick covers on the settee and we are not too bothered about the carpet as it is just a couple of squares in the middle of the room to keep the buns warm. I think I may have already said that I assumed she had been spayed when we had her, not that it would have made any difference if we had have known, we adore her. I will keep you all posted.
Thank you for listening.
Love
JO xx
