Update on my group of six, now a quad and a pair

I did a thread in photoshoots but though I would move the update over to here.

well what a weekend.  Belle decided she wanted to be the dominant rabbit. Cue the whole fur flying and chasing starting all over again   . It was worse then when I first put them together. I was ready to seperate them.  Worked out two trios based on who was closest to who. My husband became the voice of reason. In his words
Is anyone injured No
Is anyone bleeding No.
Let them try to work it out before you dive in and seperate them.

Don't tell him but he was right they did work it out. Belle is now the dominant rabbit and peace is restored. Never ever going to attempt anything like this again. My poor blood pressure can't take it.

So glad it worked out! I think they will all be happier that way in the long run.

I am so glad things have settled down again   I don't know why bunnies have to make it so stressful for us at times. Well done for persevering xx

Diving in is a natural thing for a bunny mum or dad to do. When we had Binky and they started fighting, Paul said leave them alone to sort it out but it became to heated. I will never know if they would have ever made friends again.

All is now calm again and i think i can safely say i will never ever attempt anything like this ever ever again  .
But on the same note i am glad i did as now they can have more space and i have spent the day out in the sun with them running around the garden having so much fun. Sadly my camera wasn't working so no pictures but it was such a lovely day and bought a huge smile to my face seeing them enjoying life so much.

That is brilliant news. I'm so glad that it has worked out so well for them all. They will have so much more fun and space.

Sadly today the bond came to a end. My two brothers got into a full locked on fight. Both are fine and not injured that I can see.
They are now a quad of Belle, Brownie, Bramble and Holly.
My lovely snuggly pair are Buster and Misty.

I am glad I tried to do the group. I learnt a lot from it. Sad it didn't work out but every bunny has a friend.

Now to work out how to sort the space out for everyone.

Congrats on the quad though, at least the quad is strong.

Sorry to hear it didn't work out but you gave it your best shot! And like you say, everybun is happy and has company, and that's the most important thing.

I made the right choices with the spilt. Misty is the most relaxed I have ever seen her with Buster. Buster is a very laid back bunny who was bonded with his very hyper brother so he's currently in heaven with his new hunbun.

The quad is all my hyper bunnies together. They are all loving playing and bombing around together. Can't wait until everything is sorted for them all.

what a roller coaster you have all been on. Glad it has all worked out in the end. Who would believe that such cute little creatures could be so blimmin complicated!!

I am sorry that the group didn't work, but maybe a cloud with a silver lining if you now have a happy group and a loved up pair. The complexity of these wee furry creatures never fails to amaze me.

I'm sorry it didn't work out but your new set up sounds as if every bun is now happy and well suited to their match(es)

I'm looking forward to seeing pics of the new set up too!

I am so glad that this worked in the end love, even if it wasn't quite the way you expected. I tend to forget that with animals it is more about smell than sight.
