Vibes for Helen Please / Ud shes an amazing little fighter.

Please can we have some Vibes for Helen she has not been eating to well lately and last night she didn't touch her tea
we think it's dental but don't know how she will cope if it is with a GA.   

Mike's made an appointment for her to see the vet later on today.

I think it's turning out to be another one of those years for us

Helen didn't see Honor as she's not on today but she has a couple of spurs but they are not big enough to really be bothering her, so she has to go back tomorrow
when Honor's on and let her check her out. I think she will need a dental myself

At least you know it is more than likely the dental spurs(which can be dealt with) rather than something more sinister that is causing her not to eat. I know that this is still a worry for you considering Helen's health at present and the risk of a GA.

Please know that Helen and you(Mike too) will be in my thoughts and prayers. Sending mega vibes!

Sorry to hear that Helen has a problem with spurs. I had a guinea pig who had to have dental treatment for spurs a few times and it was so worrying, and even more so if they have other health issues to make having an anaesthetic more scary. Will keep everything crossed for Helen here - good luck at the vets today.

Helen is now going to the vet's tomorrow morning as Mike isn't so well today at all. He will syringe feed her give her some meds today.

Helen needs a dental but Honor said she is worried as there is a big risk that she will not survive it as she think's something else is going on as
Helen has been losing weight as we have been monitoring her and she lost more weight since Sunday.

Mike is stopping at the vet's with her which he only does when he think's we are going to lose a rabbit.

At the moment I am in a terrible state it's bad enough we have lost Dudley and Arfa is on borrowed time and to lose Helen my world would end
I just couldn't cope with it at the moment. I feel like I'm breaking apart and God knows I'm trying to keep strong but it's just impossible!   

I will let you all know as soon as I hear anything

Had her dental but she has breathing problems and they are giving her oxygen.   

Maysie, Helen, Arfa and almost all the bunnies you've adopted were on borrowed time when you got them. Some wouldn't have survived another 24 hours. You took outstanding care of them and loved them like no one else could. You got them ideal veterinary care. They lived in palatial digs with lots of enriching activities to do. You gave them as much attention as they wanted. Maysie, you and Mike are amazing. You have such a capacity to love.

Unfortunately, with caring for such ill bunnies the rate of loss is very high. I didn't know how you did it . But I think it is because you get a new bunny and that gives a new infusion of love. Churchill is a BIG infusion of love!

You know Helen was one of those bunnies that wouldn't have lived more than a brew hours without your intervention. Enjoy the time you have with her.

~UPDATE ON HELEN~ 16:57pm

Helen is home and we have left her in her pet carrier for now covered up and with a heat pad. It's touch and go but we are not giving up, she has to come round slowly so the longer she is sleeping the better, we have some meds if she comes round and fits . The fits the vet said our due to the e.cuniculi and should be ok after she is fully awake.
So at the moment all we can do is keep our eye on her and hope she will keep on fighting.
