Diet Questions Empty Diet Questions

Post by gentl Thu May 29, 2014 4:39 pm

We've never had such a wee bun and trying to figure out the amounts is confusing. Hubby thinks we are starving the poor thing! Of course Guinness will have all the quality Timothy and/or orchard hay he wants. From what I've read he should have only 1/8 c of pellets(what we feed is 23-24% fiber). Should we divide this amount in half and serve twice daily? It seems like so little!

Then as far as greens is concerned. He really likes them. We serve a mixture of baby greens. Is one cup enough? He doesn't eat them all at once. Just nibbles on them all day. He's turned his nose up at fruit which I guess is really a good thing.

So:

Unlimited Timothy hay
1/8 cups pellets
1 c greens
1 preemie carrot
unlimited fresh water

Am I missing anything?
