Re: Show me your doggies!
So cute!
This is Sammy, he's 5 next month and we're not 100% but we think he is Jack Russell x Spaniel (not sure which kind!), but he has spaniel-like markings and spaniel-like tendencies (he loves to play fetch and swim). He was a rescue - free to a good home after the people before him had taken him away from a terrible place - they'd commented how sweet he was and their response was "you can have him if you want him". He definitely bears scars from his past and is not keen on children at all. He can snap for no reason (well, no reason to us, it's probably because we've likely triggered a bad memory) and has some really irrational fears. He's been hard work but he's come so far in the four years he's been with us and he really is a happy little chap these days. It's just sad the baggage he will always carry as a result of people...
And this is Didier He will be 3 in August and is a full Jack Russell - farm born and bred. He is a spoilt little so and so and a total mummy's boy, but he's so cute you can't ever be angry at him for long
And this is our beautiful Doomie Dog who we miss each and every day. He was my best friend and one in a million. His story is in the Rainbow Bridge section if you want to read it - it's far too complex to post here. He was the best

I don't have a dog anymore, although it crushes me that I don't, I miss Bonnie so much. Can I share pictures of her even though she is gone now? x

Re: Show me your doggies!
Thanks guys! I miss her so much, had a really bad week last week (or this week, it is only midnight so?) and it was her birthday and I just missed her so much I spent all night crying because I just miss having a little dog to cuddle up to on my worst days, and I would give anything to have that again so this post came along at the right time
My girl
Bonnie being photobombed by Rocky, this photo cracks me up soo much
Our first holiday after we adopted Bonnie. I love this photo. I'd love to get it in a drawing or painting one day
A thirteen (i think) year old me with my best friend.
This photo is from her last day, you can see she looks so old here. She hadnt been brushed in a long time because it just stressed her out so much and she was in pain from it, so we just let her be, knowing she didnt have long with us.

Beautiful Bonnie Girl!
The last photo speaks more than thousand words and a gorgeous girl can afford a bad hair day or two.

Re: Show me your doggies!
There are some old photos here and new of the Family dogs past and present.
This is an old photo of my Sister's dogs Rocky (GSD) and Gizzy ( Yorkie ) both are now at the Bridge and were much loved.
This one is my Sister's Labrador Sam, he turned up at her house on the day of my Nephews funeral with very long nails and she rang the RSPCA who took him away and she said if nobody claimed him she would have him. Nobody claimed him and so Sam came to live with her. Sadly he had to be pts on the same day as Rockiy in their garden as both had terminal cancer
The baby is my Niece's Daughter Jamie who was 20 years old yesterday on the 15th June
I love this photo and wish I could just jump in to the photo and us all be together again. I'd love to turn the clock back. That's me with Gizzy on my knee, Sam sat next to me, then my Mum's wonderful standard Yorkie 'Cheeky' and then Rocky. All got on with each other and all are at the Bridge now I hope together. I miss them all, happy happy memories.
Me and Sam
This is Deefer and he is a Lancashire Heeler and belongs to my Sister but he's quite old now but I have spent many years when Mum was alive and I use to clean for my Sister playing in the garden with Deefer we were always together Bless him.
This is Amber my Sisters dog now.
This is the last dog she got and she got it for her Ruby wedding Anniversary and she is called 'Ruby' ( sorry I didn't realise that Amber and Ruby's photos were so big )
This is my Niece's Daughter Jamie with her GSD 'Frazer' he was a cruelty case and a rescue dog he was badly beaten and starved and he was so badly beaten round the head that he had serious ear problems that eventually got so bad he had to be pts. His Brother that was found with him died from starvation and his injuries.
Bless him Frazer died recently and his time with Jamie who he loved was cut short far to soon.
This is my Niece Katie's dogs ( she has three) the GSD is Sar and a rescue and the other dog is Lexi.
I think I better leave it there

Re: Show me your doggies!
I haven't got a dog myself but Jo and Phil next door have got a lovely boy called bracken. He loves vegetables, yes he is a dog. And guess what each time he goes out or comes in he will stop at my kitchen window like he would pass a Mac. D drive through and wants to be served. Today I asked whether I can have some pics taken here is the evidence of carrot and broccoli.

I totally forgot to come back! Heres my merry mutts...
Its not often I get a good picture of all 3 of them together...
