Fly spray and vet bed
A big manky fly just came into my kitchen so out came the fly spray!* It made its way into my utility room, where Molly and Junior's vet bed is waiting to be washed.
There's a chance I got the vet bed directly with the spray
I literally put it straight it the washing machine on a 30° wash but I'm thinking, should I just throw it out in case, or would it be ok after an instant wash?
What do ya's think??
* I don't, as a rule, kill things but will make an exception for manky buzzing flies!

I have no idea tbh, I should imagine it would be fine but better you wait for the other hoppers to give advice.
I do not kill things either but flies are a definite kill and wasps if they do not give up trying to sting me.

Don't throw it out it should be ok once it's washed and hung on the line to dry. If you are really worried just add a little disinfectant in to the wash with it. I do that when I wash Helens wee wee stained vet bed with her having e.cuniculi.

If you
Have washed it it should be ok! Not happy??? Give it another cycle with a splash of vinegar and all be fine

Re: Fly spray and vet bed
Vinegar is a substance created by the devil himself
I'd rather throw it out but thank you for the suggestion
It's probably dry, will give it an inspection tomorrow.

Ok you don't like vinegar.
I'm just old fashioned and it works.
You could use a few drops of bleach instead. Oooooohhhhhh

Re: Fly spray and vet bed
No we don't want you gagging or worse over the washing machine. Who would clean it up?
Seriously I washed the vet beds after an unnamed bunny lady had waddled on it. Just 40 degrees no special treatment, only washing powder and they are clean and fine!
None of the buns object and she hasn't done it again which could proof that there is no smell left.
