Domino is loving having his wifey bun back. Although, it took a little while, a first he wasn't sure. We had a few bonding issues, he couldn't mount her and kept sliding off and he got stressed, but he got there. And now he's very happy. They were initially bonded seven years ago, had five years together (three of them as a trio with Jelly), until he had to leave them after having E.C so badly he needed intensive care indoors.

Recently I thought he seemed well enough to have a friend, but I knew he couldn't handle two of them. But now Jelly has left us, it seemed the most logical step. They will live outside (boooo!) in the big shed, and then come in when it's very very cold if need be.

The beauty of having a pair, is if he relapses, or gets poorly, she can come in with him so they will never be split up again. With having three, it wasnt practical having three indoors and he needed a small padded area, it just couldn't work. When he got better, I did toy with putting him back outside but I couldnt bear to pull him away again if he got poorly. It's a nice comfort knowing they will always be together now, no matter what.

Oooh I don't know about that She was always jealous of Pebbles and Domino,nobody was good enough for her son I like to think she's looking down with a smile, but also with a "you better look after him!"
