Starving bunnies Empty Starving bunnies

Post by Thumper2001 Mon Oct 13, 2014 11:08 pm

Molly and Junior are super hungry just now Hmmm I can't move without then following me with that look.

I can't figure out why! They are getting the same amount of food. In fact, they're getting a teeny bit more because I finally got them some fiba first.

I'm wondering if it's anything to do with the tine of year?! I wouldn't have thought so because it's not like they hibernate or anything!

Anybody ever noticed bunny appetites changing with the time of year?

No, mine are always hungry!rabbit
Vernon has by now figured out when I cut food in the kitchen. As it is close to the lounge he will hop around with his "have you forgotten about me?" lookon his face. How could I? No Laughing

I can't say mine are any less hungry dependent on the season - they're just total pigs all year round! Laughing

Maybe they've just perfected the art of begging? Wink

Willow is dreadful for following me around and bunting my feet/ankles whenever I look like I could be going anywhere vaguely near the treat draw/pellets Rolling Eyes

Mine too CB love, as do the piggies. I must say I haven't noticed a time when she is extra hungry, all my bunnies have been experts at begging. I am always extra hungry in the winter as I think many people are so it may well be the same for some bunnies Thumper hun.

They have always been chancers when it comes to food but this is honestly ridiculous.

They jump on me whenever I sit down on the sofa, and they only usually do that when there's banana in the vicinity Hmmm

I get mugged too hun when I am eating something they like. One bunny I used to have would launch herself at me so I always had to take care that I had nothing hot in my hand LOL!!

Mine always get a little extra in the winter (well the outdoor buns).

But I've not noticed them being hungrier really it's just cos I want them to build up against the cold.
