A terrifying moment...
I had a terrifying moment this morning. I felt sick to my stomach
I was letting the bunnies mooch the garden this morning whilst I sorted everybody's breakfasts etc. The animal room looks out onto the garden, so no worries there...
Anyway, I looked up from what I was doing to find Mr Mo scrabbling about wildly in a bin. He'd somehow managed to jump into an empty bin (about 4ft high), but the entire thing was filled with rainwater
Luckily, there was a floating bottle which he must have used for a boost. He had climbed out before I could reach him, but must have gone right underneath the water.
My poor boy
He was soaked but is dry now and seems ok - he's had some treats and seems fine. I think I'm more shaken up to be honest
Bunnies!! Seriously... the things they get into!!!!

Well that wasn't what he expected to find! Glad he's OK. Hopefully he's learned that crime doesn't pay!

Honestly rabbits are worse than toddlers for getting in scrapes.

Re: A terrifying moment...
He's fine thank you Katie - not bothered in the slightest that he scared me (and himself!) half to death!
He's really come out of his shell recently and seems a lot happier - I think the new enclosure and the increase in 'garden moochies' is helping him a lot

Re: A terrifying moment...
Blimey! Sometimes bunnies are too inquisitive for their own good! I remember when I was cleaning my bridle and Marley thought it would be a good idea.to jump from the sofa and in to the bucket of water!! At least Mo is safe and sound, no harm done. x
