My jeepers I should have called this buck ...
... Sherlock!
Tomorrow I have the sweep coming to sweep the sitting room chimney. This means for a couple of days prior to the event I am busy with chores like washing ornaments, cleaning pictures, shampooing rugs and polishing furniture (furniture's all sheeted over for the sweeping, but is all smart when the sheets are removed so there's little to do tomorrow except put things back). Well this as been a paradise for Henry, the nosiest buck in town! He has been like a detective sticking his beak into EVERYTHING!
Tomorrow he will be shut in his crate if it's raining like today; if it's fine he can go out in his new pen. But either way I know he will HAVE to be there to help me put the room back in order and give it all his seal of approval.
This will all be repeated on 10th June when the sweep comes back to do the dining room chimney. Then there will be real fun and games because I plan on decorating the dining room afterwards and rearranging the furniture (the crate will be gone then). There will be some new items of furniture and rugs so Henry will be in his element.

They do love to be involved don't they. Everything needs a seal of bunny approval.

Well, the sweeps been and gone and my sitting room is spick and span and sparkly again. Henners as claimed the new rug as his and chinned it from end to end!
He was as good as gold throughout the sweeps visit but boy was he in a strop when he discovered I had conned him into his crate and shut him in. There were some mighty loud stamps, fierce bar shaking, and finaly wild hay savaging... he always savages his hay when all else fails, chomping piece after piece into tiny bits to work off his aggression. He really was rank with me this morning, but it was all quickly forgotten when I let him out to help with restoring our room to its usual comfiness.

I had to laugh as well, though there was an element of fear in my laughter ... I was dreading his mood when I let him out.
Chomping up the hay was so indicative of his anger and frustration, and ... I think ... he felt a tad stupid for having been trapped so easily!

I cannot do anything without Holly wanting to join in and leave her mark. It sounds as if Henry has a lot to look forward to love LOL!!

Oh, he was climbing on my back trying to get inside the crate while I was taking down the shelf tonight. I shall endeavour to fold the the crate up tomorrow afternoon while he's nose deep in forage; don't think I could manage to get it done with him "helping".
