My Wabbit Cake
We made it for Alex's mum's 40th! By no means a work of art but was fun! His mum is rabbit made and even talked about her 20 rabbits in her speech!
Re: My Wabbit Cake
I am sure she was well chuffed that you had gone to all that effort to make her a rabbit cake. Well done!!!

She was thrilled! She makes peoples cakes normally and made the fantastic one for my Engagement Party. So she was just so touched that we had done this for her.

Re: My Wabbit Cake
Honestly it is really easy. YOu could even use ready made sponge and just cut the spare one to shape and then decorate.
Re: My Wabbit Cake
what did you ice it with?

Re: My Wabbit Cake
That is awesome!!! I bet she was thrilled to bits with that - what did you name the bunny whose fate was so cruelly sealed?
and where did you stick the candles...?

Re: My Wabbit Cake
We called the bunny Reen as her name is Corrina and we always call her Reenie Lol! And we just stuck the candles all round the edge. We had sparkling ones!

Just buttercream made from butter and icing sugar. It was really sickly though as I left Alex alone to make that and he used a whole carton of icing sugar

Re: My Wabbit Cake
Wow......you did a GREAT job on that......it looks fantastic!!!
I wouldn't have been able to cut into it, though.....much as I can't bring myself to bite into chocolate Easter rabbits unless someone else breaks a piece off first!!!
