New Member Of The Family
Its official, my lodger Bunny is officially staying! I have persuaded them he should stay here, they were more than happy with the idea - quite relived in fact i think.
So here he is, introducing Eyes (now also secretly named Hercules )

Who currently lives in here
but, now he is staying, i will (get hubby to) think about making the whole of this front grass area here into a run for him

Re: New Member Of The Family
Its brilliant news isnt Jo! I decided to bite the bullet yesterday when we were over there for dinner and asked Bro in law how he would feel if Eyes stayed here. It took him a second or two to work out what i meant, until i said your rabbit... then he said yes, couldn't see a problem, child had forgotten him now so may as well stay and be loved here.
He is very cuddley, he has such thick fluffy fur and actually quite likes a cuddle from time to time now

I feel your happiness love, it is wonderful when you fell in love with a bun like that and then discover that you are going to be able to keep him. He looks a snuggly bunny.

Re: New Member Of The Family
Yes, It is lovely Jo, but if he would be going back to a good caring home, with people who not only loved him, but had time to care for him properly, it wouldn't matter how much i loved him, i would let him go.
However they dont have time for him, as evidenced by the state of his hutch when he came to stay with us. The 4 y/o has forgotten him now, and is going through a truly bratty stage (as they do) and i fear if he had gone back it wouldn't be long before the child had gone in to see him and forgotten to shut the door behind him.
I think also if they were all that bothered they'd have done something about getting him back sooner. Every time i mentioned him they would say 'oh we must get his run sorted' then go quiet as soon as i said it was no problem he was fine with me...
Bro in law seemed quite pleased when i suggested he stayed, so i told him he had to tell my other half that it was his idea, not mine, or it wouldn't be able to happen lol. So he did it in grand style, saying he had decided he couldn't be bothered to make the house for him now, Freddie had given up on him, not interested any more so he may as well stay with us now if i had asked hubby if we could keep him it would have been a no lol!
