New abode
Well Miranda keeps taking one step forward two steps back in the toilet training area, she does great then it's pee everywhere which means I can't set up the pen(her pee has currently ruined my lino in the bathroom).
So I have the option getting the two of them a very large cage just to keep them in while I'm at work(cut hours so it'll be a few hours a day) or I have seen a wooden corner playpen thing some have a wooden flooring but cost wise it a lot more expensive(longer to get and haven't seen a company in Scotland that does it yet)
Any opinions?

Re: New abode
I think I'm still inclined to think there may still be some male hormone influence from Soundwave. It can take 6 weeks or more to clear that hurdle.

Re: New abode
She was like that when she wasn't near him, she started upstairs with us with 3carpets down and she picked them up(God knows how) and peed all over my carpet, that's why she was moved into the bathroom( which is designed so a wheelchair can go in so it not small) which she had free range of until she pulled out all her hay and peed all over the floor(which has completely marked it, we've only been in the house 6 months).
It like she trying to expand her cage even though she has a large area to use.

Re: New abode
She isn't a tad incontinent? Maybe getting caught short? Some spayed females can be.

I thought she had been done. But can't any bun be incontinent. Maybe ask the vet... could her being overweight be a factor?

Re: New abode
My two were virtually impossible to litter train before they were neutered.
Once that was done it all fell into place very quickly.
It's quite common for them to be difficult to litter train before they're done.

Re: New abode
I'll wait until she is dressed before harassing myself over toilet training and I'll make my decision then.
Soundwave was so easy to toilet train.

Re: New abode
I have never had a problem toilet training bunnies, Holly is very good and so have my other buns been. If it is ruining your lino love, their wee-wee sounds lethal.

Re: New abode
She does seem to be taking her time over getting it right. I've never had a bun take more than the one go at it. Let them "go" wherever, clean the "do" into a litter tray, place tray on the spot where they went and Bingo...
Even Riley (my thickest bun) got that right. She may be a bit insecure still and needs to mark her territory to boost her confidence.

Re: New abode
She was a very nervous bunny when I got her, she prefers to dig the litter tray. Well she hasn't last night still not peeped in it but it a start. Soundwave was litter trained right away.
But I don't know how old she is or anything about her background.
Decided on what I am getting them they are getting a large two storey hutch for when we aren't here, then they get free range when we are
