Yes Gemma I know that feeling.
I'm waiting to see whether they pay at least some towards dental treatment. My vet nurse is optimistic.

I gave him the scenario with Miranda needing shaved for treatment and he said yes they would cover that,
Petplan didn't cover even though there claus that they said excluded it said: wouldn't cover if it was dematting, grooming or bathing. She was non of these.

The only thing that throwing me is there maximum age is 5 they will cover injury and death but not illness, even tho rabbits live for 10+ years starting to save for that eventuality xxx

Do you mean they won't provide cover for illnesses over the age of 5? I can't see the point in having insurance that doesn't cover for illness? I may have misunderstood though...

Luckily I haven't had to use Petplan for Holly and I hope I never have to but I have heard so many conflicting stories about them. Some people say they are great, others don't. Holly does have a dental check every two months though when she has her claws trimmed and a general check up. Very Happy

If it a new illness then apparently not,  May just cancel the insurance when they hit 5 put the money away instead, all insurances are the same.

They don't cover trimming,  burring or filling the back teeth,  they do have a bit that says they do cover dental if the teeth are checked but that covers other issues than over growing
