Re: Look at Junior's eye
I would get him to the vets,
Does his ear usually flop like that as well?

Re: Look at Junior's eye
Just typical that I'm out of the house doing some work today OH is at home keeping an eye on him though. He's just given them both a treat and they were well received!
Vet is open until 6 though.
Yeah, one ear or the other quite often goes like that. It's a standing joke in our house that Molly steals one of his ears from time to time

Aw no, not at all! You had me keeping a closer eye on the ear than I probably would have if you hadn't mentioned itgemma997 wrote:Hope he OK? And gets well soon

When I got home, his eye was completely back to normal So I didn't take him to the vet. It can be counterproductive with Junior because he stresses so easily.
However... his eye has been sinking back in and out this evening I suspect it's been poked and is irritating him at times.
I'm at home tomorrow so will be able to keep a close eye on him (if you'll pardon the pun!) and get him to the vet if it carries on!

Re: Look at Junior's eye
Thumper I do hope this isn't the same in buns as humans.... when I had aacg last Nov. my eye shank and closed. I couldn't lift my eye lid at all. I'm not sure how it works but in humans build up of pressure as this effect.
My aacg came and went, I had good days with no symptoms then it would happen again and eventually it went into crisis and it was hellishly painful and I almost lost my sight in that eye. I may be and probably are, completely wrong but it is so like my aacg symptoms.
Do get him to a vet asap.

I would love if it were me. Apart from anything else I think your mind needs to be put at rest.

Ah yes, familiar with this dilemma - MJ is the same. Recently after being picked up from boarding (an hour away in the car) we had a vet app at the D1ck vet (also an hour away in the car) for an eye check up the next day. The day after the eye check up he went on hunger strike for almost 2 days. Only nibbling little bits here and there though otherwise normal. Didn't take him to the vet (tho I would have if it had went on any longer) because it would just have made him worse and I was confident it was just because he had 2 trips in 2 days. Sure enough, he was back to his usual ravenous self the next day.
On reflection... we should have just left them at the boarding for another night and went straight from there to the D1ck vet the next day as there not too far apart.
