Bunny boarding

We're off on holiday a week yesterday, our usual boarding place seems to have shut down which is a real shame. So we've booked them in at a new place which is also a rescue called Baby Blue Bee Bunnies and a couple of weeks ago I got my booking confirmation through which includes a list of what is included with the boarding.

All I can say is WOW. I might see if they've got a space for me!

Here we go:

On arrival your rabbit will receive:

• A personalised one to one health check, including weight and body condition scoring
  
• A luxury foliage basket with home grown goodies to help them unwind after their travels
  
• Three specially selected varieties of hay for optimum enjoyment and gut health
  

During your rabbits stay they will also receive:

• Two inclusive treatments at our bunny spa
  
• Premium vet bed for your little kings and queens to regulate body tempurature
  
• A fun bunny bedroom bespoke to their needs with hides and levels
  
• A variety of toys, all hand selected to promote natural behaviours and mental stimulation. This includes: ball pits, tunnels, hides, treat balls, chew toys, lookouts for perching etc
  
• A variety of locally sourced hays, home-grown grass trays, and freshly picked organic herbs and foliage from our garden
  
• A personalised professional photo shoot which captures their personality perfectly
  

Wow. But I think they forgot the gold plated taps in the bathroom ... sorry litter tray
It all puts your mind at rest though and you can rest assured the buns won't miss you at all.

I left their Facebook group, I think it’s called Rabbits Scotland, because it was all a bit much

I was the same as thumper the Facebook page was too much, very judgemental. From members not from the boarding lady.
I looked at booking thundercracker into once and she was very accomodating for him and his ear condition.

Dropped the boys off yesterday, bit of a trek not helped by terrible traffic. Looking forward to getting updates, in other news that means we are off on holiday today so I might not be around for a couple of weeks!

Holiday has been good so far, we're in the Rockies in Canada and they've been having a bit of freak weather so its been unseasonably cold (ave for this time of year is 15 degrees, start of last week was -5 and snowing then it got much warmer later in the week, its snowing again today and is forecast to get below -10 tomorrow night

We have sun here in Lincolnshire today.... makes a change from RAIN!
