Garden veggies okay for buns?
UIve just since sat started to give the buns the whole run of the garden (whilst watching them of course)
Now I grow the following veg:
carrots
onions
courgettes
butternut squash
potatoes
The carrot tops have been raided by the buns
But they keep trying to eat the onion tops and I dont know if they are banned from that or not.
I ahve done til now but was wondering?
Also one of my buns tried eating a courgette leave - admittidly she's a pig and would try anything I stopeed her just before but was wondering if anyone knew?

Re: Garden veggies okay for buns?
I wouldn't give them things like squash and potatoes as they are very starchy and not particularly good for buns.
I honestly couldn't say about the others. I wouldn't imagine courgettes are bad - mine don't like them but that's another matter...
I'm sure someone else will have some better advice
And kudos to you fgor growing butternut squash! yummy

Im prettys sure potatoe leaves are bad.
Blossom caught some onion leaf and ran off with it but I told her off and she hasnt done it since.
I think the onions will be having a hair cut!

I'm fairly sure potato leaves are bad for most things, and I'm thinking courgette leaves would be fairly yucky (aren't they quite sticky and smelly?)
I think onion tops would be pretty harmless though, but I'd still be pretty cheesed off if I'd put all that effort into growing veg and the flipping bunnies ate them! I was soooo mad this summer when the chickens got my tomato plants.
