get the in laws over to come over twice a day to look after the cats and rabbits. Not ideal as they are not naturals with animals and seem to only be able to retain one piece of information at a time so always do something wrong (don't be ungrateful Rachel!!) despite loads of notes and post its everywhere but they do try hard and is great that they offer to do it.

I have a copuple of mates who live very near, I give them keys and they pop in to feed him and spend a bit of time with him. If the mates aren't around, then he goes to stay with someone not far away, but anything more than 4 days and he goes into boarding.

I have one friend, who I've posted about on here, that just goes and leaves him for the week-end, in a hutch on his own. I couldn't do it myself Sad

Definately get someone to pop in a few times while you're away, if you don't have anyone near enough to bunnysit. Rabbits go downhill so quickly that they can't really be left for a weekend to their own devices (personally I wouldn't do it with any animal, as an injured or sick animal could deteriorate rapidly if it's serious)

Just off the M27 at Hedge End. He stays with Sue who runs Southampton Rabbit rescue.

I'll PM her No. over, and I've just found her on You tube!

Bertie is demanding a pop in visit too Laughing

I've only ever left Evo overnight on his own - that was for my wedding and from lunchtime one day until morning the next day. Any longer than that (not even 24 hours) I would get someone to look in on him.

Would normally get my parents to look after them, as I am going away with them over night my mums animal mad friend is coming to look after them.

I wouldn't leave them alone as if something happened nobody would know and also Dumpling would eat all the food in one go!

I take mine with me when going to visit parents, or I ask a neighbour to pop in, but I have left them overnight on occasion (before I discovered my neighbour was such a sweetie). Wouldnt recommed it if you want a stress free getaway, I worry about mine something shocking
