we called at the garden centre today so i could get a holly shrub, before we left went to look at baby bunnies and piggies, and heard this man saying ohh yeah we have 2 rabbits we leave them outside in pouring rain and all weathers as you can just leave them at back of garden and throw them food out easiest pets to look after, the people who were told this were looking at a rabbit so i said soo they could hear i don't think so and said to my nan clearly he doesnt vaccinate and know about proper rabbit care, and the people looking changed their minds

poor POOR bunnies. How can someone live with themselves doing that to a bunny? Even my cockroaches got more care than his bunnies seem to.

Poor bunnies! Well done Lisa for speaking up - I would report the garden centre to the local council too. It's not that one at Bradley Fold is it?

I think it was another customer looking at the rabbits that she was complaining about. Good for you for speaking up. When I was in Ireland I went to P@H just for a nose and there was a pair of buns up for adoption. A couple with a little 18 month old girl were looking. I heard the woman say something about just taking one and panicked. I went to the checkout and said that I hoped they wouldn't split the pair and was told that the buns had to be homed together and that they wouldn't want the couple to have a bun for their daughter as she was too young. Phew.
